    Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

    Industry: Preferably from Oil & Gas Industry or related industry

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Quality Control Manual
  • To develop and formulate SOP’s for quality function
  • To develop and formulate forms and formats applicable for various stages of fabrication, testing and qualifying product(s) to meet the contractual requirements of customer’s
  • To prepare QAP’s/ ITP’s for:
    - Raw materials required for pressure vessels, pipe spools and structural components like base frames and platforms.
    - Bought outs like valves, electronic field instruments etc., and carry out material inward inspections.
  • To prepare and review WPS & WPQ as per applicable Codes & Standards and aligned with contractual requirements
  • Monitoring & Witness of Fit Up activities , Weld Visual, NDT, Hydro and Pneumatic activities for pressure vessels, pipe spools and assembled packages
  • To prepare and review NDE procedures as per applicable Codes & Standards and aligned with contractual requirements
  • To coordinate and lead inspection activities with TPIA’s and/or Clients personnel’s
  • To conduct FAT of pressure vessels and /or assembled packages
  • To coordinate with TPIA’s and / or Clients QA personnel for closure of inspection punch points and release of IRN
  • Participate in ASME audits / Factory audits
  • Preparation of MDR as part of final documentation aligned with contractual requirements

  • Skill Sets (Technical):

  • Certified to ASNT Level 2 as a minimum
  • Ability to evaluate the technical requirements as per contractual specifications with reference to material standards, testing requirements and product quality.
  • Knowledge of ASME Sec II, V, VIII, IX standards, AWSD1.1 and experience of at least 3 years in Pressure Vessel fabrication facility
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.3 piping standard and at least 1-2 years of experience in pipe spool fabrication and its testing
  • Interpretation of RT films
  • Ability to review P&ID’s and fabrication drawings
  • Knowledge of NACE standard and its requirement for raw materials
  • Knowledge of Blasting & Painting requirements, experience in paint generics like epoxy, PU etc.,
  • Proficiency in computer operation and applications like Word, Excel etc.

    Experiences: 3-5 years (for BE-Mechanical) or 5-6 years (for Diploma – Mechanical) at a facility involved in fabrication of Pressure Vessel, Pipe spools, Base frames & Platforms, Assembly and Testing of Skid units.

    Industry: Preferably from Oil & Gas Industry or related industries

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and detailing of Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchanger equipment
  • Preparation & finalization of design calculations for Pressure Vessels like KOD, Filter Separator & Heat Exchangers using PV Elite software.
  • To develop and formulate SOP’s for mechanical design function, FAT and /or SAT of the equipment’s and /or skids.
  • To develop and formulate forms and formats applicable for various engineering deliverables like datasheets, BOM’s etc for client submission and enquiry purpose
  • To evaluate and approve vendor technical offers and drawings as applicable
  • To coordinate and guide draftsman in finalization of P&ID’s, Equipment GAD’S, Skid GAD’s, modelling of skids and detailed fabrication drawings & isometrics.
  • To assist & support QA personnel with critical inputs for finalization of component level & package level QAP’s/ITP’s to meet contractual technical requirements
  • To deliver error free plate cutting layouts for pressure vessels or other equipment’s
  • To coordinate with AI’s and / or Clients personnel for approval of calculations and designs for pressure vessels, closure of comments received from clients and vendors and ensuring On Time engineering closures.
  • Participate and lead design related activities for ASME U Stamp equipment’s and its successful completion.
  • To support bidding team with estimates of BOM, Vessel weight estimates, fabrication estimates during tendering stage.

  • Skill Sets (Technical):

  • Working knowledge of ASME, TEMA, API, EN, IS etc standards as applicable for Pressure Vessels, Structures & Platforms in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Have working knowledge of local stress analysis for nozzles & supports.
  • Proficient in PV Elite software and other software’s like AutoCAD, Solidworks/CADWorx.
  • Ability to read & evaluate the technical requirements of the contract & contractual specifications with reference to material standards, testing requirements & product quality.
  • Knowledge of PMS, VMS and piping supports and ability to develop project specific related engineering deliverables.
  • Knowledge of ASME Sec II, V, VIII, IX standards and experience of at least 3 years in Pressure Vessel fabrication facility
  • Ability to review contractual specifications and finalize P&ID’s for client submission and approval.

    Industry: Preferably from Oil & Gas Industry / Chemical Industry

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collect initial drawings, calculation basis and design ideas from engineers, and combine all relevant data to complete initial design models for review and modification
  • Preparation of P&ID ‘s based on tender stage drawings and input from Design Engineer
  • Preparation of GAD, fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and heat exchangers
  • Updation of above drawings based on customer comments
  • Preparation of skid GAD’s along with its base frame and platform,
  • Preparation of pipe spool drawings to production department along with its BOM
  • To coordinate and guide draftsman in finalization of P&ID’s, Equipment GAD’S, Skid GAD’s, modelling of skids and detailed fabrication drawings & isometrics.
